You bring the project and we will supply the know how.

First Friday Craft Night
Crafting, sewing, treats and wine. Open to anyone interested in a creative social event. You do not have to limit yourself to sewing. Bring a project and a friend!
      Nov. 3, 6-9pm, free

We love to keep our class sizes small (4 to 6 people). We believe this allows for a more personal and rewarding experience.

 Please make any cancellations 48 hours prior to the first class.

Hand Embroidery Class-Beginning & Continuing-“Puurrrfect Halloween”
Learn the fundamental techniques and stitches for hand embroidery while creating a piece you will want to display in its hoop or in a frame. In this workshop you will create a Halloween kitty themed creation.

Dress Class
It’s about time to venture into dresses. This is a great class for those of you who have mastered the skirt and are ready for the next level. This class focuses on altering a pattern to achieve the correct fit that flatters and shows off your personal style. Sewing skills emphasized are mastering fish-eye darts, sewing invisible zippers, attaching linings and facings and pattern adjustment.

Knit Tee Shirt Class
Using  Grainline Studio’s Lark Tee pattern you can create several different styles of tee shirt. Receive help on making this garment fit you and help with construction skills that will allow you to make yourself a variety of basic Tees.
Thursday Evenings, Nov 2, 9 & 16, 6-9pm, $100

Apron Class
Cross-back, 50’s, or more utilitarian. You decide which type of apron you want to make. Straps, d-rings, ruffles, and pockets are among the skills we will cover.  You will leave this class with an apron worthy of the upcoming holiday cooking season.

Intro. to Apparel Sewing- Make a Skirt that Fits
This is a great class for beginners and those who wish to brush up on the basics while completing an A-line skirt that fits your body. Several different seams are covered along with nifty tricks on how to sew a regular zipper, round corners on patch pockets, and manipulate a pattern to fit your body.

Stand-up Zipper Pouch
Learn to make a handy zipper pouch that stands up on it’s own. It includes a wrist strap, and there are 3 sizes to choose from. Leave class with your pouch and the pattern so you can make more at home – for yourself, or as sweet holiday gifts.
